SPECIAL MEDAL FOR ALL FINISHERS
All courses are out & back on the southbound lane of the expressway. The half marathon will turn at the 10.5km point, the 10km will turn at the 5km point, the 5km will turn at the 2.5km point and the children will turn at the 1km point.
Race changes, race transfers and entry information changes can be made up to Friday 14th February. Please contact us for any changes.
All entries will receive an e-confirmation.
TIMEKEEPING & RESULTS
Overall finish time will be recorded by Timing Sports. Official timekeeping ends 3hrs 30 after race start. Results will be posted on this website shortly after the event.
There are no refunds for non-starters or non-finishers. When you register you accept the terms and condition of entry. Entries can be transferred to another person/event in the event. If transferring to another event e.g. from the 10km to Half Marathon or from the 5km to 10km the fee difference must be paid. There are no refunds for changing to a lower fee event
We have a time limit for this event and that is from 7am to 10.30am. After 10.30am the expressway will be open to the public to walk, cycle and take bus rides.
ENTRIES & CLOSING DATE
All entries to be done ONLINE. THERE WILL BE NO LATE ENTRIES. Entries will close Saturday 8th February 2020.
REGISTRATION AND RACE NUMBERS
Race numbers can be picked up from Flagstaff Club Commodore Ave Flagstaff on:
THURSDAY 13 February 2020 from 4pm to 6pm
FRIDAY 14 February 2020 from 4pm to 6pm
These will be situated at the following points – 2.5km, 5km, 8km, 10km, 13km, 16km and at the finish
FOOD & REFRESHMENTS
Will be available for purchase.
Entrance to expressway is only available from the Gordonton Rd interchange and will be signposted. There will be adequate car parking.
There will be no left luggage area due to lack of appropriate facilities.
PICK UP REGISTRATION
Saturday 15th of February pick up will be from registration at the Expressway Start/Finish from 6.am. We strongly advise local competitors to pick up their race number on Thursday 13 or Friday 14 February. Due to the early start we anticipate that there will be a long wait time if you don’t take advantage of the above. We want to ensure that out of town competitors have ample opportunity to collect their race numbers on event morning. You may collect race numbers on behalf of someone else.
You must be present to collect any of the spot prizes. All spot prizes are randomly selected. Randomly selected finishers will be handed a letter for minor spot prizes on the finish line. These can be redeemed from the spot prize table at Registration. In the event of adverse weather, the prize giving will be cancelled and all prizes will be posted out.
Prize giving will take place at 10.30am at the race finish. The following prizes will be awarded on stage. All merit prizes must be collected on event day by 11am. If not collected prize will be forfeited. Merit prizes will be awarded to 1st male and female in the Half, 10km and 5km events.

Your safety is important to us. Please help us to keep you safe by reading and adhering to the following guidelines.
Medical Information - Please fill in the medical information on the back of your race number. If you require St John on course please ask a marshall to phone 111.
Sun Safe - Please be prepared for a warm day. Cover up, wear a hat, sunglasses, and use Sunscreen at least 15 minutes before event start. Seek shade when you have finished your event. There will be FREE Sunscreen placed outside Registration.
Stay Hydrated - Ensure you stay hydrated throughout the day.
